The Power of We and We are all Connected have emerged as key themes among the next generation of talent in the CFDA+ 2017 program.
Launched in 2013, CFDA+ identifies the top graduates from around the world with the aim to connect them to our membership and provide visibility to creative capital.

By speaking to these designers in the selection process, we’ve been privileged to gain not only a window into each designer’s personal identity, design process, and ethos, but also a first access view of the future of fashion. There were underlying themes to the 2017 narrative: inclusivity, diversity, unity, and hope – with sustainability, technology, innovation, and culture key to this generation, perhaps more than any other generation before them.
We are very proud to continue working with Eyes on Talents and its founder Floriane de Saint Pierre to this talent the global exposure it is deserving of.
“The CFDA and Eyes on Talents believe in pure talent,” said Sara Kozlowski, CFDA’s Director of Education + Professional Development. “CFDA+ 2017 previews tomorrow’s industry today, from the design specialists of Academy of Art University, to the systems thinkers at Parsons, the avant luxury makers at Polimoda, the menswear of Westminster and the masters of vision at the Royal College of Art.”
Floriane de Saint Pierre, founder of Eyes on Talents, added, “Eyes on Talents is once again delighted to join forces with the CFDA+ and contribute to the exposure of the 41 selected graduates to help them kick-start their career.”
We invite you to preview the power of we – 41 CFDA+ 2017 talents selected from 24 schools who are unique in their creativity but share a collective Zeitgeist: We are all connected.
