The Council of Fashion Designers of America is pleased to extend the invitation to students graduating this year to develop submissions for CFDA+ 2016, a unique platform showcasing visionary, global design talent.
As a virtual talent lab and mark of distinction, CFDA+ platform unites the circles of CFDA Membership and Educational Initiatives communities, striving to strengthen the transition between education and industry. Aware of the challenges graduates often face as they embark on their professional journeys, CFDA+ celebrates the creative acumen and design diversity of high caliber, early phase emerging talent within the specializations of Apparel, Accessories, Jewelry, Textiles and Knitwear by providing exposure based endorsement.
Equally, cognizant of CFDA Members who desire a streamlined approach to navigating a global talent pool of thousands of graduates, annually, CFDA+ emblemizes future design visionaries…innovators..and creators.
Endorsed students expected to graduate in 2016 from an invited full time, Graduate or Undergraduate degree program are eligible to apply. All student applications are due no later than 5:00PM EST on Monday June 6th 2016 and will require a faculty endorsement in support of their excellence in design and professional practice.
Selected CFDA+ 2016 Design Graduates will receive exposure via CFDA.com and editorial, profile based CFDA+ Talent Book, shared with our CFDA Membership based community of more than 500 designers. Additionally, The CFDA is honored to continue its collaboration with Floriane de Saint Pierre’s Paris based Eyes on Talents. Eyes on Talents’ innovative platform will generously spotlight CFDA+ providing unique visibility to the CFDA+ 2016 Design Graduates.
