Encouraging local audiences to positively impact their communities — that’s the intent of a series of conversations initiated by Apolis.
On June 22, Apolis teamed up with Equinox to cohost a panel discussionin support of the CFDA Foundation. The talk, at Apolis: Common Gallery in Los Angeles, was hosted by KCRW radio host Elvis Mitchell and featured panelists Terrell Owens, former NFL wide receiver, and Matt Barkley, 49ers quarterback and USC alum.
The trio sparked a lively discussion about how to use your profession to do good – which is part of the mission of the series. As Apolis co-founders and creative directors Raan and Shea Parton see it, “This speaking series has become a fun moment for people to readjust their outlooks on their daily grind and see an opportunity to use their job for good.”
CFDA and Equinox will continue to partner and host classes and panels as part of the CFDA Health Initiative, promoting awareness of key issues facing the industry today. All ticket sales for these events benefit the CFDA Foundation.
