For the Spring 2021 season, design director Margo Lafontaine debuted two equally strong collections: Nouvelle Amsale and Little White Dress. “This season, the Nouvelle Amsale collection offers timeless designs for modern brides,” Lafontaine said. “Inspired by the confident bride, these gowns are designed to make a statement.” Each piece in the collection has one standout focal point, from the origami-inspired bow at the back of an architectural Mikado ballgown to the surprising sheer embroidered back of a stretch crepe sheath. Garden-inspired twists give the gowns a feminine feel with sensual fluid satin, bold graphic florals and romantic floaty tulle. “The collection feels fresh and light,” Lafontaine said. A full collection video featuring commentary by Head of Retail Terry Hall and a virtual lookbook are available for retailers.
Meanwhile, the Little White Dress label provided modern alternatives at a more accessible price point. Off-the-shoulder shift dresses and wide-leg jumpsuits in Duchess satin beg to be worn for all occasions.
