Paris Fashion Week Men’s kicked off the 2023 fashion season with a bang – especially for a handful of American designers who were among the season’s most talked about shows. Mike Amiri presented his most impactful collection to date, concluding the show by taking his bow wearing a “Woman, Life, Freedom” T-shirt – a tribute to the women of Iran.

Meanwhile, Emily Adams Bode Aujla made her womenswear debut, ushering in a new era for the brand that has established cult status within the menswear world.

Rick Owens solidified his presence in Paris with a strong gothic collection and an added boost with British fashion royalty, as in Victoria and David Beckham.

The week’s most notable addition was Colm Dillane, the 2022 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist who guest-designed a standout collection for Louis Vuitton. It remains unclear whether this was a test-run for a more permanent gig, but Dillane continued the fun with his own line, KidSuper, featuring a fashion show-cum-stand-up comedy set with performances by Tyra Banks, Yvonne Orji, Jeff Ross, and more.

Take a look at some of the week’s best moments.
