Alta Rings the Nasdaq Closing Bell with Bach Mai

July 31, 2025

Bells are ringing at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This time, it’s Friend of the CFDA Jenny Wang, founder of the A.I. company Alta, who invited CFDA member Bach Mai to join her in the daily tradition, signifying the end of the day of trading sessions.

“We are thrilled to support emerging designers on the Alta app, and showcase their pieces to the Alta audience,” Wang said. “Alta users enjoy discovering new designers and styles, and being able to style shoppable pieces with their own closet.”

Nasdaq also showcased Alta’s avatar technology on their big screen in Times Square.

Back in April, CFDA and Alta partnered to give our members and designers the opportunity to engage with the application, which serves as a personal style companion helping users discover what to wear and what to buy. It’s a super opportunity for brands to engage with new audiences who are shopping—and trying on clothes—with the use of artificial intelligence.
