To celebrate the Loulu Hawaiʻi launch on Moda Operandi, the founder of the nutrient-rich skincare and wellness brand Allison Sarofim brought a taste of Hawai’i to the newly-opened La Terrasse d’Eté at the Ritz Paris.
Ukelele players Tamaine Gardner and Rachel Look flew in from Honolulu especially for the occasion to greet the chic crowd in town for the Paris Haute Couture. In the traditional Hawaiian way to express Aloha and welcome, they also placed a Lei on Chanel-clad Sarofim, a Friend of the CFDA, and Moda Operandi Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer Lauren Santo Domingo, who co-hosted the cocktail, wearing vintage Norma Kamali.
Then, there were the tasty Hawaiian-inspired cocktails and mocktails, which included the “Honolulu” classic Casamigos Margarita and the non-alcoholic ‘Manoa Valley’ passionfruit aperitif, and a variety of ice creams, including Hawaiian-inspired flavors such as Strawberry & Hibiscus Sorbet and Yoghurt & Orange Blossom (with toppings like toasted shaved coconut, natch).
The tastemakers, socials, and fashion insiders on hand, including Anna Wintour, Zac Posen, Tina Leung, Sara Moonves, Briony Raymond, Anh Duong, Caro Daur, Giambattista Valli, Bianca Brandolini, Olympia of Greece, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, and Christian Louboutin enjoyed the warm summer evening in the French capital (and the custom Lingua Franca pouches embroidered with Aloha on one side and Bonjour on the other side filled with goodies from the brand on the way out).
“I am thrilled to partner with Moda,” Sarofim said.
So are we!
