A little nostalgia, a lot of personality, and a fresh take on two distinctly American signatures.
That pretty much sums up CFDA member Stacey Bendet’s genius collaboration with Coca-Cola, timed to the 140th anniversary of the latter. The lineup merges Coca-Cola’s nostalgic appeal and Alice + Olivia’s signature whimsy via a 21-piece Alice + Olivia x Coca-Cola capsule.
Bendet celebrated the launch at The Little Shop, a hidden bodega and speakeasy in downtown Manhattan. She transformed the space into a colorful homage to Americana replete with Coca-Cola ice cream floats, specialty cocktails, and music by DJ Mia Moretti.
The collection puts a distinctly Alice + Olivia spin on Coca-Cola’s iconic visual identity. Comprising 14 ready-to-wear styles, three accessories, and four Stace Face Coca-Cola designs, the capsule combines the brand’s colorful, expressive approach to dressing with the enduring imagery of an American classic. Prices range from $250 to $2,995.
Ellen von Unwerth shot the campaign.
Joining Bendet for the festivities were Zac Posen, Emily Rockefeller, Delilah Belle Hamlin, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Kate Walsh, Sailor Brinkley Cook, Jenny Mollen, Emira D’Spain, Lily Chee, Alexandra Richards, and a fashionable crowd of friends and supporters.
The celebration also marked the beginning of a three-day takeover of The Little Shop, which opens to the public through November 8.
The Alice + Olivia x Coca-Cola collection is available at Alice + Olivia boutiques, aliceandolivia.com, and select wholesale partners.
