For his first runway show since 2019, Alexander Wang returned to his roots. The designer celebrated his Chinese heritage with a takeover of Los Angeles’ Chinatown district, where the area was transformed into a Wang-ified night market. Complete with a plaza filled with local eateries like Pearl River Deli and Golden Dragon, local stores also remained open to guests. One location was even transformed into a store filled with pieces from Wang’s upcoming bodywear collection – with proceeds going towards funding the city’s preservation of the historic Chinatown central plaza.

True to the designer’s spirit of involving the public in his events, the market was open to the public until the runway show began at 9 PM sharp. By then, stars from Noah Beck to Lisa Rinna showed up dressed to the nines in full Wang looks.

Models made their way down the runway in plunging bodysuits and crystal thigh-high boots, carrying oversized black leather bags. The diverse cast of models included a show-stopping pregnant Adriana Lima, baring her baby bump in true Rihanna fashion, along with Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Anna Ewers, and more.
