The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) announced today its five honorees for the 2022 American Image Awards for their leadership, excellence, and extraordinary achievements in their respective areas across the fashion industry.
The honorees include: CFDA Board Member Prabal Gurung, Designer of the Year; The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Fashion Initiative, Eco-Steward of the Year; Gap Inc., Company of the Year; Chip Bergh of Levi Strauss, Person of the Year; and ThirdLove, Fashion Maverick.
“The 2022 honorees are truly trailblazers who galvanize their employees and their peers across this industry’s far-reaching supply chain to ensure impactful contributions to the American and global economies,” Steve Lamar, President and CEO of AAFA.
The AAFA’s American Image Awards will once again return as an in-person event at The Plaza Hotel on April 26, 2022. For the sixth year in a row, the CFDA Foundation will be the beneficiary, continuing the two organization’s strong relationship and common mission of supporting the industry.
