A Vibrant Fete for Alice + Olivia Grateful Dead Capsule

November 13, 2025

Paula Viteri

No one does a launch quite like Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. The brand transformed the historic Angel Orensanz Center – a former synagogue on the Lower East Side – into a kaleidoscopic universe to celebrate its newest capsule collection honoring the 60th anniversary of  the Grateful Dead.

The evening playfully nodded to the cult band’s legacy of community and free spirit, all brought to life through Alice + Olivia’s signature whimsical lens. Guests included Brooke Shields, Nicky Hilton and Busy Philipps, who arrived at the scene filled with energy and nostalgia.

The event offered a fun swirl of activities. Guests moved between hair touch-ups, tie-dye activations, aura readings, embroidery stations and an AI-powered photo booth. DJ sets from Francesca Keller and Mia Moretti kept the room glowing while bites from Jerry Bear gummies to bright cotton candy added to the playful atmosphere.

This is the second time Alice + Olivia has partnered with the Grateful Dead. The collaboration comes with nostalgic, color-forward pieces that channel the band’s iconic imagery through the brand’s celebratory aesthetic.

When fashion meets legacy, and when Alice + Olivia hosts the party, the result is pure feel-good magic.
