Celebrating the revival of the iconic HIV/AIDS benefit during World Pride 2019, the CFDA tapped native New Yorker Raul Lopez of Luar to collaborate on the official merchandise for Love Ball III.
“The T-Shirt, in a small way, pays homage to those who are gone, like my uncle who passed away due to complications from the disease,” Lopez said. “The angels and the sacred heart symbolize those who are gone, but also represent love and compassion for those in the past, present and future – they are all beautiful angels.”
From drag queens to drag kids and nightlife personalities to activists, we tapped our LGBTQI+ friends to showcase their dynamic style in a social media campaign shot by Joe Schildhorn at BFA, our official content sponsor.
