CFDA member Nak Armstrong is celebrating 25 years working in the industry. In commemoration, the designer’s award-winning fine jewelry will have a dedicated space in Bergdorf Goodman’s iconic jewelry salon floors.
The boutique, now open through July, will debut new work exclusive to the retailer, paying homage to his roots as a re-inventor of the chandelier earring. An extension of Armstrong’s Austin, Texas flagship, it is meant to feel more like a residence than a retail store, giving the client a more intimate experience with the collection.
Armstrong’s iconic signature pieces, like the Florapiega Palm + Stem earrings, will take on new variations alongside his classic Bolero and Torero earrings. He will also launch two collections, Split Circle and Baton & Lace, which both illustrate Armstrong’s propensity for using unique stone cuts and colorways to create dramatic silhouettes.
