Friends, family, and fans of Dannijo gathered at Cadillac House in Tribeca earlier this week for an intimate affair to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the jewelry brand.
Launched in 2008 by sisters Danielle Snyder and Jodie Snyder Morel in partnership with Bergdorf Goodman, the brand catapulted to success when Beyoncé purchased a piece from the legendary department store. The rest, as they say, is history. There was no better location to celebrate such a significant milestone for the brand than at Cadillac House’s Retail Lab, of which the sisters are current residents. Guests were transported to the world of Dannijo as they stepped into the environment shimmering with jewels alongside Nineties-inspired slip dresses.
“This has been such an incredible opportunity to experience the current retail climate, expand into new categories and offer our New York customer base unique experiences,” Jodie said of the first retail location.
Guests included the 64-year-old fashion blogger Lyn Slater (@iconaccidental) and MJ Rodriguez aka Blanca from the FX’s show “Pose.”
The designers proudly walked attendees through their finely-curated space – and even used the opportunity to style them in Dannijo creations.
“It was really special to have our CFDA family with us,” Danielle said. “We chatted with Steven about the current fashion landscape, what excites us and how important experience is to the brand and its expansion. Friends came out to support and it was a beautiful night filled with love, sisterhood and nostalgia.”
