City Insider: Miami with Michael Saiger

April 7, 2017

Miansai’s Michael Saiger may be originally from New York, but after enrolling at the University of Miami because of the weather, he never looked back. He started the accessories collection from his dorm year during his junior year, and decided to make Miami the company headquarters. Saiger lets us in on his insider tips for Miami.

FAVORITE THING: I like the active lifestyle and the ability to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year. It’s great to be able to go for a run, be on the water or drive my motorcycle in the winter.

LEAST FAVORITE THING: The weather in the summer is really humid and it’s hurricane season, but I usually travel a lot for work during that time so it’s not too bad.

MUST DO: Check out the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).

MUST SEE: The Wynwood Arts District

WHERE TO EAT: Sabor Peru- it’s a hole in the wall but has the best ceviche

WHERE TO CHILL: The Hamam at The Standard Spa.

BEST STREET STYLE: I wouldn’t consider Miami as having great “street style,” but Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive have really great people watching.
