Sacha Brown (Director of Professional Development, CFDA) was joined by Martina Schiuma and Max Hayes for a virtual conversation on B Corp for Fashion Brands.
Schiuma is Head of Sustainability at The ID Factory, a B Corp that helps fashion brands in tracing their supply chain’s production, processes, and material flows through the creation of a digital ID and unique traceability system.
Hayes, a sustainability advocate and professional, is currently working at B Lab as an Evaluation Specialist. He helps companies in the US and Canada with beginning their certification journey.
The mission of B Corp B Fashion is to promote regenerative and sustainable fashion. During the virtual conversation, Schiuma and Hayes delved into traceability gaps, supply chain problems, The New York Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act, among other key points.
