CFDA hosted it’s first webinar as part of our Adaptive Fashion series in partnership with Runway of Dreams and Gamut Management.
We were joined by Mindy Scheier who is the Founder of Runway of Dreams, a non-profit organization that works towards a future of inclusion, acceptance, and opportunity in the fashion industry for people with disabilities. The Foundation develops, delivers, and supports programs and events that celebrate people’s differences, breaks down stereotypes, highlights the need for mainstream adaptive apparel and showcases people with disabilities in fashion. In 2019, Scheier created Gamut Talent Management to represent people with disabilities and create a marketplace where businesses and industries can connect to this target audience. Gamut is rebranding the way PWDs are viewed, marketed to and represented in the mainstream world.
