Americans in Paris


The third season of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund “Americans in Paris” initiative has been announced, with the generous support of Tommy Hilfiger. The “Americans in Paris” initiative was created as a global showcase for emerging American designers. As Paris Fashion Week attracts a wide array of international retailers, the showroom will provide invaluable global exposure for the designers as well as the sales, marketing and media support necessary to expand their respective businesses. Nine past CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund designers have been selected to participate in the shared space and is the first time all nine designers will be participating in the Americans in Paris program :

The showroom will be located at Le Salon Marbeufand will be open from September 29 – October 1 during Paris Fashion Week. In honor of the nine designers, Tommy Hilfiger will host a cocktail party at his private residence on Thursday, September 13th. “In our 3rd season, with an exciting new group of former CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists, we look forward to continued success introducing American design talent to the international market in Paris.”said CFDA CEO Steven Kolb, “The exposure and support Americans in Paris lends to these designers is important in a global market , and it would not be possible without the generous support of Tommy Hilfiger.”
