Alexander McQueen Swarosvski Collective Designer

Swarovski is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its respected Swarovski Collective with an enhanced program offering successful applicants to the creative platform, which spans New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week, year-long financial and promotional support as well as the chance to win a new €25,000 prize for innovation.  Previously financial support has been on a season-by-season basis.


Successful applicants for New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks will receive Swarovski crystal to incorporate into their designs, as well as financial support and promotion via Swarovski’s global digital and print campaigns. Additionally, members of the Collective will be offered opportunities with international retail platforms as well as support in staging key events.


And, for the first time ever, all members of the Collective will also be eligible for the Swarovski Collective Prize for Innovation, a €25,000 award which will be given to the designer who demonstrates the most innovative and creative use of crystal across their two collections.

About the Swarovski Collective:

Founded in 1999 following Nadja Swarovski’s collaboration with a young Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow, the Swarovski Collective supports emerging and established designers in exploring the creative boundaries of crystal use and craftsmanship.


During the past 15 years, the Swarovski Collective has supported over 150 designers in producing some of their most avant-garde fashion looks. Previous participants include Alexander McQueen, Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, Wes Gordon, Rodarte, Alexander Wang, Hussein Chalayan, Viktor & Rolf, Christopher Kane, Erdem, Giles, No.21, Mary Katrantzou, Anthony Vaccarello and Maxime Simoëns.
