CFDA member Whitney Pozgay is ready for newness. In a year of change, the designer welcomed her baby Kiki this spring in her new home in California, which has inspired her to design a brighter future.
Her label WHIT has always been known for lively, colorful designs, and her new only-at-Anthropologie rendition Whit Two is no different.
“I’m excited for new ways of thinking about design and clothing across the board, and this collaboration with Anthropologie is the first step,” said Pozgay.
The collection is awash in color and classic summer patterns, crafted from natural fibers and mostly organic materials. In collaboration with her talented creative partner and husband, Parker, as well as her artist friends, the original prints are bold florals in watercolors, and her signature modern stripes and ginghams offer colorful and pragmatic additions to any wardrobe.
“Lockdown made me think about simple pleasures we take for granted in better times…picnics, bathing in nature, lying in the sun,” she said. “I hope this collection brings people joy and helps them feel connected to the world again.”
