Jonathan Simkhai launched his menswear collection June 2023, and for the designer, it’s always been about lifestyle. What are his customers responding to, and what are their preferences and needs?

“We put an emphasis on the feeling of the garments, understanding that this customer focuses more on fabric hand than design nuances,” said the CFDA member.

For his new pre-fall 2024 collection, he was inspired by both coasts, the East and West, to find a balance between sharp but relaxed, cool but still pointed, the luxe and technical, and the new and vintage. The Simkhai man most likely wears traditional suits one day, and workwear the next—or isn’t afraid to wear elements of both at the same time.

The collection is now being carried online at Simkhai.com and at Simkhai retail stores, as well as the brand’s wholesale partners domestically and internationally, including Neiman’s and Selfridges.
