Central to this process are the fashion stylists and editors who spend many sleepless nights putting together outfits for their clients. The best of them have the power to shape our view of fashion – think Grace Coddington, Polly Mellen, Melanie Ward, and Katie Grand. Take a look at the new crop of power influencer stylists steering the course of fashion.

The New-York born stylist is one of the most refreshing talents in fashion today. His work experience is far–ranging, from campaigns for Lanvin and Proenza Schouler to editorials for American Vogue and runway shows for Helmut Lang and Roberto Cavalli. In his new role as the Fashion Director of i-D Magazine, we can’t wait to see the rising stylist continue to make his mark.

If you haven’t seen Jorden Bickham’s work, you’ve probably been living under a rock. The longtime Vogue editor is stepping into her own light by creating an identity for Vogue.com. In her role as the site’s Fashion Director, she has created countless viral content to indulge the viewer with glamour galore. Her network of frequent collaborators include Gordon von Steiner and Bardia Zeinali, and her recent work includes the Hadids re-enacting the iconic Beetlejuice scene and a cover video featuring Ariana Grande. She balances this role along with creative direction and styling for youthful brands, such as CVFF alum Jonathan Cohen.

Mukamal has his hands full creating the image for some of the fashion industry’s biggest names. With a client roster that includes Zoe Kravitz, Kaia Gerber, and Lily Rose-Depp, it’s no surprise that the New-York based creative has become one of the most sought-after stylists. Repped by Streeters, he also consults for the cult-label Palm Angels and does editorial work for Numero Tokyo

The creative duo grabbed the attention of the industry after turning out a series of major fashion moments for Celine Dion during Paris couture week. Lopez is already an accomplished stylist, having worked with Faith Lynch and Liana Liberato and trained under Law Roach. After teaming up with Muñoz, Dion’s close friend and longtime backup dancer, it’s clear the two are a match made in fashion heaven.

As Editor-in-chief of Office Magazine, he is the creative force behind provocative editorials, and when he’s not busy styling talents like Emily Ratajkowski for the magazine, he contributes to publications such as 10+ Magazine and GQ.

After six years as a fashion editor at Complex, Henson went on to style for some of the most influential acts in music. He curates the look behind every red-carpet appearance and music video for the likes of  A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd. He’s also working with brands like Stampd, Nike, and DL1961.

Two words, one name: Michelle Obama. After meeting the former First Lady while working as a sales associate at Ikram, she has played an instrumental role in Obama’s style icon status. Koop proposed a a chic and modern view of American fashion, and masterfully balanced designers like Jason Wu with accessible brands such as J. Crew. Their relationship continues outside of the White House, as Koop remained with Obama while she is on her book tour and is on hand for editorials such as her ELLE Magazine cover.

Matthew Mazur can do it all. His resume includes editorials for V Magazine, styling for clients like Kim Petras and K-Pop icon CL, runway shows for designers including Reconstruct and FENTY x Puma, and campaigns for Moschino and Alexis Bittar. Mazur’s role as a mega-stylist is just his dayjob. You’ll also find him deejaying at the most fashionable fashion events.

Haley Wollens is anything but ordinary. She has been widely recognized for her futuristic and unconventional style that she brings to her clients.
