Marchesa Bridal Fall 2021 Look 1

The splendor of 17th century French design philosophy – a grand inspiration that, in Georgina Chapman’s hands, led to a breathtaking fall 2021 bridal lineup rendered with the right amount of restraint. Chapman is known for her exquisite garment construction and here, she played with lace, floral appliques, and ruffles for both form-fitted and more languid silhouettes. This bride is traditional and modern at once—a contradiction, yes, but one that Chapman masters with ease.

For the Notte collection, the emphasis was on lightness, according to the show notes. The vibe was classic and ease, with looks draped in tulle and adorned with laser-cut 3D organza flowers, or, as in the case of the duchess satin gowns, embellished with embroidery. Chapman aimed for an “ethereal expression.” Mission accomplished.
