Describe your design for series 6 and what the inspiration for it is?
My Series 6 design is really a representation of what I love about designing clothes – color, texture, and motif. It was inspired by dip dyed gradients and was a starting point for the fabrics I designed for my collection.
What does this opportunity means to you?
This opportunity is a super impactful for me. It means that I have a platform to share my vision, and it’s allowing me to shout my design ethos louder than ever.
What are you looking forward to the most on Sept. 6?
I’m most looking forward to seeing everything come together, and to share such an incredible experience with my fellow series 6 designers. I’m also excited to take a nap.
Where do you hope to be career-wise in five years’ time?
In five years, I’m hoping to be in a position that allows me to make the fabrics and clothes of my dreams, and challenges me to continue evolving as an artist and designer.
