At Wednesday’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund fashion show and tea party at the Chateau Marmont, Katy Perry found herself in a perfect photo opportunity. Here she was, posing alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, kate spade new york President and Chief Creative Officer Deborah Lloyd, Nicole Richie, Camilla Belle, and Amber Valletta. “All the celebrities!” the songstress exclaimed. “All of them.”

They, along with other Los Angeles A-listers, fêted the 10 2016 CVFF finalists. January Jones arrived first, followed by Demi Moore, who emerged from a Cadillac with floral designer Eric Buterbaugh. Other guests included Alexandra and Talita von Furstenberg, Ciara, Ethan Peck, Maria Sharapova, and Kristen Stewart, who came with girlfriend St. Vincent.

Hosted by Lloyd, Vogue Fashion News Director Mark Holgate and West Coast Director Lisa Love, and Emma Stone, the event was the last step for the 2016 finalists before the November 7 finale.

The high-energy show kicked off with a marching band playing “When the Saints Go Marching In.” Then came Hiplet dancers fusing classical pointe technique with hip-hop and urban dance styles, graffiti artists, hula-hooping courtesy of Karis Wilde, the androgynous performer who works in burlesque and cabaret, and even a baby goat which added to the overall charm of the event.

NewbarK designer Maryam Malakpour’s daughter Sophie and Charlie Brock, the son of Brock Collection’s Laura and Kristopher Brock, modeled for the occasion. “We tried to do things a little bit differently this year,” Holgate explained.

The crowd, including past CVFF finalists such as Irene Neuwirth, Greg Chait, Jennifer Meyer, Jonathan Simkhai, loved it.

The show ended on an extra-sweet note. “Join us for cake,” said Vogue Accessories Director Selby Drummond, as the guests filed into the tea room beautifully decorated with kate spade new york home and tabletop designs.
