Commando, the beloved brand founded by CFDA member Kerry O’ Brien, has set its eyes on men.

Vermont-based Commando has launched its first men’s collection featuring ultra-soft briefs, boxers and tees, all with ultimate comfort and support and its fabric-first ethos in mind.

“The decision to expand into men’s wasn’t just a strategic move, we’re redefining the standard in men’s essentials,” O’Brien, Commando’s Founder, CEO and Designer, said. “What guy doesn’t want to go Commando? Since 2005 we’ve sourced the highest quality luxury technical fabrics, and with our unique focus on engineering for comfort and performance, the new category expansion is a demonstration of this continued commitment.”

The new lineup is made of three collections – The Essential, The Classic, The Ultimate – and uses the brand’s Micro Modal, Microfiber, and Bonded Microtech fabrics for briefs, trunks, and boxer briefs from $44 and v-neck and crew neck undershirts from $88.

“This collection showcases our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our diverse clientele and has considered all of his needs from sleep to street, these are solutions he does not have… yet,” O’Brien added.

The collection is available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Revolve, Specialty BTQ’s, as well as online at WearCommando.com.
