CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) x Revolver, Scandinavia’s largest fashion trade event, is coming to New York City in time for New York Fashion Week.
The CIFF x Revolver showroom, in collaboration with the CFDA, will located at 32 Mercer Street from Sept.7-9. It brings together 10 Danish and six U.S. brands committed to sustainability and fostering responsible trade and growth.
The American brands curated by the CFDA are M. Patmos, Charles Harbison, Melissa Joy Manning, Julia Jentzsch, Jahnkoy, and Hope For Flowers.
From Denmark, they are Helmstedt, Nynne, Birgitte Herskind, A Roege Hove, and Summery in womenswear; Isnurh, Berner Kuhl and Han Kjobenhavn in menswear; Vinny’s in footwear, and beauty label Rudolph Care.
The CIFF x Revolver New York showroom was made possible by Danish industry trade association WEAR.
“Our world has never been so connected, but never needed us to cooperate together more,” said CIFF x Revolver Director Sofie Dolva. “It’s a privilege to work with our friends at the CFDA to showcase the creativity and innovation of Danish design, and a responsibility to use our shared voice to encourage fundamental positive change to protect the future of the industry which we all love and value so much. The Scandinavian Region has always been a pioneer in world-class sustainability, and these philosophies are deeply embedded within Danish manufacture and design. I’m inspired by the opportunity to come together in New York under a common goal and celebrate what unites us.”
Consider it a chic Danish invasion!
