On Tuesday,  the CFDA hosted “Fashion x Culture: How Web3 Will Define The Next Generation of Designer,” a virtual conversation on digital fashion as a means of self expression and the evolving role of the designer.

The webinar was moderated by Rosie Perper, Senior Editor, CoinDesk Learn. The panelists included Simone Berry, Chief Strategist and Innovation Director, 5Crypto; Daniella Loftus, Founder, @thisoutfitdoesnotexist; Hillary Taymour, Creative Director, Collina Strada, and Gala Marija Vrbanic, Founder & CEO, Tribute Brand.

The conversation covered concepts such as the meaning of digital fashion, the misconceptions of digital vs. physical, sustainability and ownership in web3, the value of education and taking risks, as well as tools that emerging designers and creatives can use to make a name for themselves in this new space.
