Infinna™
- Cellulose Carbamate Fiber (Viscose/Rayon)
Infinna™ is a premium, circular textile fiber that looks and feels soft and natural like cotton. It is regenerated out of cellulose-based waste streams, including cotton-rich textile waste, used cardboard or even agricultural residues like wheat and rice straw. Infinna™ is biodegradable, contains no plastics, and textiles made with it can be recycled again in the same process alongside other textile waste. It works beautifully on its own for 100% regenerated yarns and fabrics and also blends easily with other fibers, like cotton. Infinna(TM) has been demonstrated in applications ranging from single jersey and denim to French terry and woven shirting fabrics, as well as in nonwoven applications.
Infinited Fiber Company currently produces Infinna(TM) at its pilot facilities in Finland. It is preparing to build a flagship plant with an annual capacity of 30,000 metric tons/annum, and has already secured multi-year sales deals for Infinna(TM) from the future factory with leading global brands, including Patagonia, H&M Group and BESTSELLER. The flagship factory is expected to open in mid-2024.
