VOGUE, NYC & COMPANY, AND THE COUNCIL OF FASHION DESIGNERS OF AMERICA ANNOUNCE THE THIRD ANNUAL FASHION’S NIGHT OUT WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2011
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), and NYC & Company—the city’s marketing, tourism, and partnership organization—today announced the date for the third annual Fashion’s Night Out (FNO), to be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 in celebration of New York City’s $55 billion fashion and retail industries. Following the success of the expanded 2010 effort—which included the city’s largest public fashion show and the participation of stores in more than 100 cities across the nation and in 16 countries around the globe—next year’s event will once again expose shoppers to new stores and products through events and promotions featuring some of the fashion and retail industries’ top designers and leaders.
Stores and consumers interested in receiving information are encouraged to register their information at fashionsnightout.com and become fans of the FNO Facebook page and Twitter feed at @fnonyc (#FNO).
