The CFDA Travels to Harvard Business School

On Monday, April 22 the CFDA traveled to Boston to visit Harvard Business School (HBS) and their Luxury & Retail Club.  Steven Alan, along with president of his company, Trish Donnelly, and CFDA business advisor Ari Bloom were also in attendance.

In an effort to expand the CFDA’s Professional Development opportunities for CFDA Members, we created a program with HBS where MBA students will have the opportunity to complete a 10 week full-time Summer Internship with a select group of our Members. The areas of focus for the business development internships will range from international market entry and business plans, to e-commerce strategy and operations. The CFDA had a chance to speak with the students about the organization’s mission and goals, as well as about opportunities within the fashion industry.
