In Shanghai, I met with Masha Ma, an up and coming Chinese designer. She has already shown her bold, sleek and intricate womenswear at London and Paris fashion weeks. She is also one of the few Chinese designers to have her clothes stocked in Europe and Asia. - May 20th 11 AM

The 798 art district is the center for contemporary art in Beijing. It is a must see for art aficionados because it is full of fantastic galleries, cafes and shops. - May 15th 12 PM
Triple Major is a hip boutique located in the historic Hutong area of Beijing. The shop owner Ritchie Chan truly embodies the avant-garde spirit of the shop. He travels all over the world looking for unique designers to feature in his shop, and he even designs his own private label. - May 15th 11AM
I met with several boutique owners to learn about local Chinese designers and customers. Here I am with Charles Wang, one of the co-owners of the very popular boutique Dong Liang in Beijing. One thing I learned is that many Chinese designers only produce clothes in one size. - May 15th 3 PM
