This is the 12th year of Swarovski’s partnership with the CFDA Fashion Awards. As a partner, Swarovski underwrites the annual CFDA Fashion Awards as well as sponsors the three Swarovski Awards for emerging design talent (have you seen these brilliant videos here, here, and here?).
As avid supporters of emerging fashion talent, the Swarovski Awards celebrate the achievements of young designers in three categories: Womenswear, Menswear and Accessory Design. The three respective recipients for the Swarovski Award in each category receive financial support from Swarovski and exposure to the company’s vast and innovative crystal resources. The nominees this year, as well as the years before, for the Swarovski Awards are the leaders in the new generation of American talent.
Without further ado, here is a look at Swarovski’s longstanding partnership with the CFDA:

2011 – Glitterbox Floor Lamps and Lanterns by Georg Baldele for Swarovski Crystal Palace create a sparkling backdrop whilst a custom-made Swarovski crystal-encrusted podium added extra sparkle
2012 – The Swarovski Award for Womenswear was awarded to Joseph Altuzarra; the Swarovski Award for Menswear was presented to Phillip Lim; and the Swarovski Award for Accessory Design went to Tabitha Simmons.
